Rev. Dr. B. Jaya Sundara Rao, the pastor of The True Evangelical Fellowship belongs to a Christian family. He is the second son among the five sons of Late Mr. B. Thirupal and Late Mrs. B. Sugunamma. They brought up the children in Christian discipline.
He submitted himself to Jesus Christ in 1963 when the youth meetings were conducted by the servant of God Late Bro. B. Devasahayam at stuwartpuram. Since that time he had assisted the servants of God.
Being an employee in postal department, he was at Nellore in 1971 and worked as a partaker in the ministry with Late Bro. N. Surya prakasha Rao, father of Bro.N. Jayapaul of Calvary Ministries. By 1973 he has spiritually strengthened by the influence of the prayers of his wife Late Mrs.B. Satyavathi. While he was an active participant in the ministry at Nellore he was transferred to Kavali in 1976 and assisted Late. Bro. Jesudas till his death in 1978.
Lord allotted him responsibility of leading the congregation after the death of Bro.Jesudas. The little congregation has been growing day by day by His abundant grace. He rendered the restless service to both his profession and ministry. To bring more souls to the kingdom of God, he took voluntary retirement in 2003.
Between 1978 and 1981 church gatherings were under the thatched roof in a rental place. In 1981 God provided a place to construct a small church. As an answer to continuous prayers, God showed His grace to construct a two storied building.
The promise “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32) was proved. Thus ‘The True Evangelical Fellowship’ came into being on the 10th of August 2008.
Lord Jesus Christ has performed numerous miracles in the ministry. To mention ……
Mrs. Ramanamma, Battladinne, Kavali Mandal, Nellore Dt, A.P had been suffering from cancer and she got operated twice. When she had a relapse a 3rd time Doctors gave up . They consoled her that God alone could heal her . When she came to the church for prayer she was healed and got converted and baptised.
Mrs. B. Varamma, Sakkulavaithota, Kavali was possessed by an evil sprit and suffered nearly for ten years. At last she came to the church for prayer. After prayer the Lord touched her and the evil sprit left her. She was healed, converted and baptised. She attends the church regularly along with her four married daughters.
Mrs. Varalakshmi, Hanumakondapalem, Jaladhanki Mandal, Nellore Dt. A.P. was possessed by an evil sprit and she spent a lot of money for cure but all was in vain. One Sunday she attended the church accompanied by a converted sister. She disturbed the service with cries and shouts. Pastor commanded the evil sprit in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. At once she kept quiet. The Lord touched her and she was healed. She was baptised and attends the church regularly.
Many miracles have been done by Lord Jesus Christ for the glory of His name in the ministry. All praises to Almighty God !
God blessed one tree The True Evangilcal Fellowship and this tree has several branches now at Maddurupadu, Mondedinnaepalem, Agraharam and Batladinne. He has given an opportunity to run a bimonthly magazine ‘Satya Margamu’ , a book stall and T.V ministry.
It is not the hand of man but only the love of God that has transformed the faithless into the faithful and the nothingness into vineyard of fruit. Let us all thank the Lord for filling our heart with content to thank Him and praise Him through our willing submission.
